Unveiling The Secret Doctrine: How Theosophy Responds to Today's World with Pablo Sender, Ph.D.

Celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Theosophical Society

ONLINE: Mondays in August - 4, 11, 18, 21 // 7:00pm PT

H. P. Blavatsky, co-founder of the Theosophical Society, stands as a seminal figure in the history of modern spirituality. Her magnum opus, The Secret Doctrine, published in 1888, catalyzed a renaissance of esoteric philosophy that reverberated across cultures and inspired the founding of numerous spiritual societies, occult fraternities, and philosophical schools—many of which endure to this day. But do the teachings enshrined in this work still speak to the challenges and questions of our time?

This series of talks invites participants to explore the enduring relevance of Theosophy in today’s world. Far from being a relic of the past, Theosophy offers a profound and transformative worldview—one that sees the universe not as a chaotic interplay of random forces, but as a living, purposeful whole engaged in an ongoing process of spiritual evolution. Within this vision, the apparent turbulence of human history is not meaningless but governed by intelligible principles, such as the law of karma and the cycles of growth, decline, and renewal. These laws help us understand the rise and fall of civilizations, ideologies, and even collective states of consciousness as part of a larger metaphysical rhythm.

Equally central to the Theosophical worldview is the teaching of the fundamental unity of all life. This principle offers not only a spiritual insight but also a moral imperative—one that calls us to foster compassion, mutual understanding, and a deeper sense of shared purpose. As thinkers like Manly P. Hall recognized, these teachings have the potential to awaken both heart and mind, enabling us to see beneath surface appearances and grasp the sacred meaning underlying all existence.

Join us as we rediscover Theosophy as a living wisdom tradition—one that illuminates our place in the cosmos and offers a guiding light for the inner and outer challenges of our age.
