Unpretentious Palate's UPPY Awards 2025

Join Unpretentious Palate in celebrating the best in Charlotte's food and beverage industry at the People of the Year Awards, or The UPPYs! The event will be held in Charlotte’s historic Visulite Theatre.

Tickets include an awards presentation, dinner, drinks (including craft cocktails), and live music from the Troy Conn Trio!

About the Awards: During the month of September, Unpretentious Palate asks its members to nominate the industry professionals they thought made a difference in Charlotte’s food scene this year. The top three finalists in each category will be announced soon and one winner from each of the categories will be announced live at the awards ceremony. See this year's award finalists here.

Dress: Cocktail Attire

Important Notes:Tickets will not be sold at the door. IDs for 21+ will be checked. Doors will not open until 6 p.m.

Parking: There is free parking directly across the street from the venue. There is additional parking off of Travis Avenue the second entrance behind the theatre.
