About this event

  • Event lasts 7 hours

Come to our spacious, comfy HQ in Brooklyn for a day of rest, relaxation, contemplation, and community.

Inspired by the day of rest found in many spiritual traditions, Unplugged is a chance to relax, take a breather from screens, and incline toward stillness in a friendly and comfortable setting.

There will be areas open for chatting, meditating, reading, listening to dharma talks, or just vibing.

We'll order lunch and offer afternoon tea.

Come by, drop your phone in a basket (it'll be there if you need it), and unplug!

WHAT DOES IT COST?

Unplugged is free and donation-based, like everything we do.

TIMING

Doors open at 10 AM, and we wrap at 5 PM.

Come for any portion, leave when you feel like it!

We'll have lunch at 12:30 PM and tea at 3:30 PM.

WHAT TO BRING

A book, if you like, though we'll have a shelf of dharma books you can pull from.

Headphones, if you feel like privately listening to a dharma talk or podcast. (We'll also have pre-chosen dharma talks available for social listening.)
