Join us at Equality Starts At Home as we mark National Inclusion Week with a one-hour online safe space where we will be exploring our take on this year’s theme, ‘Now Is The Time’.
During the session, we’ll be discussing how the mental load disproportionately affects women and marginalised genders, especially in the context of today’s global and political challenges.
This confidential, supportive event will cover how invisible labour, emotional strain, and societal expectations contribute to burnout and inequality at home and beyond.
Together, we will reflect, share, and learn practical ways to lighten the mental load, and support each other in doing so.
What to Expect:

● Tools and strategies for managing and sharing emotional labour
● Commitments to small shifts that support inclusion and wellbeing
Who Is It For?
Open to people of all genders. We especially welcome those who carry emotional, cognitive, or domestic responsibilities in their homes or communities.
Now is the time to acknowledge the unseen, unshared, and unsustainable burdens and begin shifting them, together.
