About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

Join Robyn Sugden, a late-diagnosed neurospicy mother of two who is also a professional working in the field of neurodiversity. She brings over 10 years of professional experience in this subject area, and 37 years of living expertise. Through storytelling, humour, reflection and community-building, her workshops allow people to reconnect to themselves and to form new connections with others in a profound way.

About this workshop:

Many neurodivergent people learn to "mask" their traits—suppressing or hiding parts of themselves to fit in socially, professionally, or even within their own families. While masking can be a survival strategy, it often comes at a high personal cost, leading to burnout, anxiety, and a sense of disconnection.

This workshop creates space to explore the experience of masking and the deeply personal and collective journey of reconnecting to our authentic self. Together, we’ll unpack why masking happens, and how unmasking can support well-being, identity, and connection. Through storytelling, reflection, and conversation, we’ll examine what authenticity can look like for neurodivergent folks—and how workplaces and communities can better support that freedom.

Whether you're neurodivergent yourself, a colleague, a friend, or a curious learner, this session invites you to challenge assumptions, celebrate difference, and imagine a world where everyone gets to show up as their full self.

Please note: Events with fewer than 5 registrants will be postponed or cancelled and tickets will be refunded.
