Overview

Learn how to make the most of university resources for your research projects, community outreach initiatives, and beyond!

The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) and the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) are hosting a collaborative workshop for UTM faculty titled "Unlocking University Resources: Research, Outreach and Beyond."

Scheduled for Tuesday, October 24th, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM in the Paul Meek Library, Room 215, the session aims to foster a stronger culture of faculty-ORSP collaboration to maximize research and outreach success.

The workshop focuses on two key areas: first, practical techniques for establishing community contacts and building partnerships that lead to powerful experiential learning opportunities for students. Second, the session provides clear, actionable guidance on the process of applying for grants, including finding the right funding sources and writing strong, competitive applications to support your research. Faculty are encouraged to register to gain these essential institutional resources.
