Shades of Resilience Counseling, PLLC empowers Black men to courageously take control of their emotional well-being, find healing, and live their fullest lives. We aim to be the leading therapy practice focused on the mental health of Black men, providing resilience tools that positively impact families and communities for generations. We envision a world where Black men can freely prioritize their mental health without stigma or judgment.
Moody Mindfulness for Resilient Shades, LLC provides affordable meditation coaching for individuals who are not experiencing a crisis or significant dysregulation, offering an alternative to traditional therapy. Self-regulation skills are a prerequisite for engaging in any mindfulness meditation practice.
The program is designed to introduce mindfulness meditation techniques to individuals who may be reluctant to try therapy, are curious about mindfulness, or wish to enhance their coping mechanisms—either on their own or alongside traditional therapy.
Practicing mindfulness meditation, whether individually or in a group setting, has been shown to be equally beneficial in improving mood, alleviating anxiety and stress, and fostering overall physical well-being.
