If I sign up along with someone else, do we have to be on separate zooms?

No! As long as you are both fully registered and have your camera on for attendance, you can be on the same zoom.

Where do I get the zoom link for class?

The links to Zoom will be emailed to you the day before class.

Are there breaks?

We will take breaks at intervals throughout class so you aren't sitting for 5 straight hours!

When will I get my Certificate of Completion for the Down-Payment Assistance?

Peter will email you the required evaluation form and once that has been completed and returned, Paul will send your certificate within a few days.

Will I get home buyer resources for the class?

Yes! You will get resources once the class is finish.

How long is the down payment assistance certificate good for?

2 years after your class completion date.

Question 7

Do I have to keep my camera on for the entirety of the class?

The WSHFC requires that you remain on camera for the entire duration of the class to be qualify for the certificate. If you need to step away for a few minutes, that's perfectly fine. However, if you'll be away for more than 5 minutes you will be remove from the class.

Can we register together or do we need to do it individually?

Accepted Answer

You can register for the class together and share the same camera if you prefer. However, anyone who will be part of the loan (which differs from being listed on the home’s title) must complete a separate registration form.
