About the speaker:

As a highly energetic strategy & innovation leader, Maryam has spent her life propelling change and creating purposeful impact.

After living, working and studying across 4 continents, she founded Innovation Bazar, a global consulting & training agency based in NYC offering consulting, training, and mentoring services to —startups, universities, Fortune 500 firms, and nonprofit organizations— in the areas of product management, innovation, growth strategy, experience design, design thinking, UX/UI design and sustainability.

She partners with her clients to unlock their business potentials and spark positive change through leveraging a research based, purpose-driven & experience-led approach that is a blend of human-centered design with lean startup, agile, strategy & systems thinking.

Passionate about inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators, Maryam teaches Graduate, MBA & Executive courses at esteemed universities and EDTech companies including, NYU, MIT Sloan, Tec de Monterrey University, EGADE Business School, 2U, and CareerFoundry both in-person and virtually.

She enjoys empowering students to master the necessary skills, by motivating them to stay engaged, providing feedback and sharing examples of her day-to-day work with them.

She also advises world class startup founders at various incubators and accelerators including XRC Ventures, WEVE, Techstars, NYU Entrepreneurial Institute and SongHan; serves on a couple of advisory boards: and shares her insights through speaking and panel engagements in the areas of product management, innovation, entrepreneurship, design thinking, CX strategy, sustainability and UX/UI design.

Maryam's career includes leadership roles at IBM, First Republic Bank, Mark Giusti, and the Neiman Marcus Group.
