Unity Rubber Ducky Derby

This duck race is an event where hundreds of rubber ducks will be dropped into Sandy Stream to race towards the finish line at the bridge, where viewers can cheer the duckies on. Each duck is numbered and represents one ticket. YOUR duck could be the one to claim victory!

Yes! Tickets are being sold at Mac's Hardware, the Unity Public Library, Stone Tree Farm and Cidery, Unity Pond Pottery, Mammie's Country Kitchen, Chase Toys, and Downeast Credit Union. You can also buy tickets from Unity Parks and Recreation Members.

The event will held at the bridge along the Hills to Sea Trail on Main Street in Unity, across the street from Northern Light Primary Care. Enter to the right of the yellow building, then follow the trail to the bridge (a two minute walk). There will be signs pointing you in the right direction!

Yes! You can buy a single ticket for $5, or buy a set of five tickets for $20. You can buy as many tickets as you'd like.

While we would love to have every Rubber Ducky's representative present, you do not need to attend this event in order to collect the prize if your ducky wins. We will reach out via phone or email to notify you if your ducky wins.

When you purchase tickets, we mark down your name, number, and email address with your Rubber Ducky's number. If your ducky wins the race, we will reach out for you to claim your prize.

Absolutely anyone can attend the race! This event is for adults, children, and everyone in between. Whether or not you have a rubber ducky in the race, we welcome you to join us as we watch our ducks cross the finish line.
