Project Smile is a non profit organization dedicated to helping people in need through our two programs:
Smiles for Children: which helps children who are victims of traumatic events. Project Smile donates stuffed animals, books and coloring books/crayons to police and fire departments, the Dept. of Children & Families and homeless shelters. Since its founding in October 2003, Project Smile has parterned with 197 police and fire departments.
Many of the children who receive Project Smile's items were involved in car accidents, victims of abuse or other crimes, witnesses to domestic violence, sick/injured, coping with the loss of a loved one, entering foster care or living in a shelter.
Suits & Smiles which provides job interview clothing at no cost for low income men seeking employment. This program partners with social service agencies to receive referrals for men who need professional clothing.
