Join UNI Gerontology in building a dementia-friendly community. Come to discover resources and learn from professionals in the field.

About this Event

Registration is free and open to the public. Whether or not you are directly impacted by dementia, everyone can play a role in building a dementia-friendly community in the Cedar Valley. From police officers to librarians, cashiers to caregivers, this event is free and open to all community members.

A FREE lunch will be provided. Participants must register to attend.

Featured speakers include:

  • Donna Harvey, CEO at Northeast Iowa Area on Aging
  • Dr. Elaine Eshbaugh, Professor of Gerontology at UNI
  • Kelly Carman, Support Group Facilitator with the Alzheimer’s Association
  • Lisa Wetzel, Fund Development Coordinator at Northeast Iowa Area on Aging
