About this event

Dive into the creative possibilities of Risograph printing in this hands-on workshop, where each participant will design and print their own two-color poster. Under the theme “Unexpected Layers”, every poster will combine one text element and one image element, each printed in a separate color. This simple constraint encourages thoughtful design while leaving room for experimentation, playful overlaps, and serendipitous effects unique to Risograph printing.

Participants will start with a brief introduction to Risograph techniques, including color layering, registration, and texture. They will then design their posters, prepare their text and image layers, and print them in two separate colors, exploring how overlapping forms can create unexpected visual results. The workshop concludes with a group sharing session, highlighting the diversity of approaches and the creative surprises that arise from experimentation.

By the end of the session, attendees will leave with a unique Risograph poster and gain insight into how color, layering, and intentional imperfection can enhance expressive storytelling—aligning with Boundless Bound’s mission to foster inclusive, experimental, and thoughtful artistic practices.
