Please join U.S. Mission Vietnam and U.S. Mission India for a moderated discussion with immigration expert and government advisor, Michael Hough, to better understand U.S. immigration policy. Attendees will gain a better understanding of the economics and public policies behind enhanced U.S. border security measures, changes in U.S. immigration policy, and the risks of illegal migration.


Michael Hough is the director of Federal Relations for NumbersUSA, a non-profit, non-partisan organization that advocates for immigration reform, as well as public policies that enhance border security and limit illegal migration. In this role, he works closely with federal officials, policymakers, and stakeholders to advocate for sensible immigration policy. He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and previously served as Chief of Staff for U.S. Rep. Alex Mooney (R). He was a Republican member of the Maryland House of Delegates and the Maryland Senate.
