Description

The workshop will discuss all aspects of the Child Support Law and procedure as implemented in Allegheny County. It will include a discussion of the importance of communication with the Court, appearing in Court, and how to litigate your case. The workshop will discuss how child support orders are determined, and how they are enforced. It will include a discussion of the importance and procedure for modifying a child support order when circumstances change. There will also be a discussion of services available to non-custodial parents including work search and training assistance and Social Security Disability Monitoring Program.
