[PANEL] Understanding Sudan: The Crisis, The People, & Our Role in Advocacy
This focused panel discussion brings together community leaders, scholars, and grassroots organizers to share context awareness about the humanitarian atrocities happening in Darfur and across Sudan, personal testimony, and practical steps students and community members can take to push for accountability and humanitarian relief.
What this panel will cover: Our panelists bring a range of expertise and lived experience: religious and community leadership, academic and medical perspectives, diaspora testimony, and hands-on experience with legislative advocacy and anti-genocide organizing. Expect historical context on the crisis, first-hand accounts, policy analysis, and practical guidance for mobilizing local advocacy.
There will be a subsequent march, rally, and vigil that are open to the public and do not require RSVP, though attendees are encouraged to join us.
Don't miss this opportunity to educate yourself and be part of the solution!
