Who is this for? What will I learn?

This class is for adults 50–75 who are approaching or in retirement. We cover when to claim Social Security, spousal/survivor benefits, how RMDs interact with Social Security and taxes, IRMAA/Medicare premium considerations, and common mistakes to avoid.

Is this really free? Do I have to be a client?

Yes—no cost, no obligation, and you do not have to be a client. It’s strictly educational.

What should I bring?

Please bring something to write with. Optional: your mySocialSecurity statement, birthdates for you/your spouse, a rough idea of retirement account balances, and a short list of questions. We won’t share or review anyone’s personal statements in the group.

How long is it? What’s the format?

Plan for 60–75 minutes plus 10–15 minutes of Q&A. Please arrive 10 minutes early for check-in. Phones must be on silent during the session.

Can I bring a spouse or guest?

Yes—please register them as a guest so we can hold seats together. Seating is limited.

Will you give personal advice or sell products?

We’ll provide general education. If you want personal recommendations, you’ll have the option to schedule a private follow-up. No product sales are conducted during class.

Will you talk about taxes/Medicare?

Yes—at an overview level, including RMD timing, tax interactions, and IRMAA basics. This is not tax or legal advice; please consult your CPA/attorney for your situation.

Where do I park and is the venue accessible?

Free on-site parking. The venue is ADA accessible. If you need accommodations, tell us on the registration form or call/email us.

How do I register and what happens after I sign up?

Can financial advisors, insurance agents, or bank reps attend?

Yes, under our Professional Attendance Policy: $1,000 registration fee per attendee, no solicitation, no recording, and advance approval required. Violations may result in removal without refund and potential prosecution.
