Don’t be afraid of reverse mortgages, instead understand them. They are loans specifically for homeowners age 62+ who want to unlock a portion of their home’s equity without having to make a required monthly payment. They are government insured loans and have been modernized by HUD & FHA with numerous consumer protections and safeguards in place. You will learn the best way to maximize their benefits, their pros and cons, your eligibility, and options for receiving your money. Come and learn how a reverse mortgage can boost and secure finances while you live on a fixed income.Pre-registration is required.

Refund Policy: “Requests for a refund on a fee-based class not canceled by the college must be made at least five (5) working days prior to the beginning of the class. No refunds can be made on requests made after that date. A $5 per person processing fee will be retained on all refunds unless the class is canceled or meeting times are changed by the college.”

Napa Valley College's Community Education is offered throughout the Napa Valley with administrative offices located in St. Helena at the Upper Valley Campus. The program is comprised of workshops, fee-based classes, noncredit (no-fee) classes, educational trips and tours, special events, and short-term vocational training programs.
