External speaker - Anne Emerson

Anne has over 45 years' experience of working with neurodiverse children and adults as a speech and language therapist, educator, trainer and parent support worker. In recent years Anne trained as an integrative counsellor with a focus on disability and neurodiversity. She currently works for a charity providing free and low-cost counselling for disabled people and their family members, and as resident counsellor for an alternative educational provision for neurodivergent children. The focus of this seminar is to look at current models and understanding of neurodivergence and explore how that intersects with person-centred theory.
