Speaker: Gill Bradley, Nuclear Waste Services Menopause Champion

Despite affecting half the population for a significant portion of their lives, until recently menopause has not been well understood or talked about—even in medical circles. The result? Many women feel unprepared and unsupported when they reach this life stage. And, at work, many coworkers and managers are not equipped to support.

Join WiN Cumbria to celebrate World Menopause Day to build your knowledge of menopause and how to support people through the transition. Topics covered will include cognitive function, moods, weight management and vasomotor symptoms (those dreaded hot flashes and flushes).

This isn’t just a women’s issue—it’s a human issue. Let’s work towards building a more informed, supportive community.
