Understanding Dementia - Free Immersive Workshop for Carers

By Honey Lane Care Home

Overview

Join us for an eye-opening workshop on dementia care - learn, connect, and share experiences with others also caring for a loved one.

Would you like to better understand your loved one’s experience of living with dementia?

Join our qualified Dementia Interpreters, Jackie Berritt and Home Manager Angie Sacks, for a practical and supportive session where you will:

- Learn about different types of dementia

- Step into the shoes of someone living with dementia through a multi-sensory experience

- Connect with others, share experiences, and get helpful tips and advice

If you wish to attend with your loved one, activities and refreshments will be available, so you can take part in the workshop knowing they are supported and cared for.

The workshop is taking place at our care home on Wednesday 10th December, from 10:00am - 12:30pm.

Spaces are limited – booking is essential.

Call us on 01992 718 558 or email us at enquiries.honeylane@carebase.org.uk to reserve your free place.
