UNDERSTANDING COLOR THEORY— MASTERING YOUR PALETTE

Turn your color confusion into confident control! Stop making mud, learn essential color theory to confidently control hue, value, and saturation in your work. Through guided exercises that include tinting and shading, exploring value relationships, and neutralizing with complementary colors, you will quickly learn to control your palette and create harmonious color schemes. We will then use focused color exercises to match paint chips to sharpen your perception and understanding of hue. Ultimately, you will apply these skills to create a colorful landscape painting, walking away with useful color charts and a strengthened ability to confidently navigate color in your own creative work. All materials are provided—just come ready to have fun! (Ages 13+)

Online registration is available for an additional fee through our website/Eventbrite: www.exeterfinecrafts.org/Courses.html. Please note, online registration fees are nonrefunable.

Payment will be processed and is required at the time of registration. Students are considered registered when tuition is paid in full.

Refund only possible if student withdraws by phone or in writing at least 10 days prior to the first class— NO EXCEPTIONS. If a student registers online, they will receive a refund minus the online registration fee.

If the class is cancelled by EFC, a full refund will be given. Students will be notified of any scheduling changes. We will contact students if class is cancelled due to severe weather and a make-up class will be scheduled.

Gift certificates are available for classes.
