Understanding Bowel Endometriosis — From Surgery to Systemic Change
Thursday, November 13, 2025 | 8:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM PT
Hosted by the Women’s Health Research & Action Center (WHRAC) & Endo Excision for All

Bowel endometriosis is one of the most complex and misunderstood forms of the disease—often misdiagnosed, under-treated, and deeply impactful on patients’ quality of life. This webinar brings together clinical expertise and lived experience to explore what bowel endometriosis is, how it’s treated, and what systemic changes are needed to improve care and access.

Moderator: Leah Chapman, PhD, MPH – Women's Health Research & Action Center
Panelists:
Dr. Punam Amin, MD – Colorectal Surgeon, Baylor College of Medicine
Nicole Notar – Founder, Endo Excision for All

Together, we’ll discuss:
• What bowel endometriosis is and why it’s often overlooked
• Excision vs. ablation and why the distinction matters
• Surgical options and multidisciplinary care
• The patient experience—from misdiagnosis to advocacy
• How to drive systemic change in endometriosis care

This is a free virtual event. Registration is required. Cameras are optional, and the session will be recorded and shared with all registrants.

Let’s work toward a future where endometriosis is diagnosed earlier, treated effectively, and understood systemically. 💛
