Overview

This course is for caregivers of children with developmental delays/disabilities (DD), particularly those with challenging behaviors.

Registration opens at 9:00 am on 04/01/2026

These classes are open to everyone, including caregivers whose children are seen in DDBP, caregivers of children with developmental delays or disabilities not seen in DDBP, and professionals, providers, and educators who want to learn more about supporting youth with developmental delays or disabilities

This 2-hour introductory class focuses on the reasons challenging behaviors may occur and how to change behaviors. Caregivers learn about positive behavior supports and how to encourage cooperation and positive family interactions. This class is delivered virtually via Zoom.
