No, unfortunately at this time the class is only offered in English.

You can start working as a security guard after you receive your Unarmed Guard card from DPS.

Generally, it takes 4-6 weeks once DPS receives your application.

Does this class cover the renewal of my current Unarmed Guard card?

Yes, you will want to take the course approximately 60 days prior to the expiration date of your Unarmed Guard Card.

I was convicted of DUI about 5 years ago, can I still get my Guard Card?

The link to DPS website lists the offenses that will disqualify you for your Guard Card. You will have to review your case, and possibly talk to your attorney, to ensure your DUI was a misdemeanor. And consult with DPS to ensure your charge isn't a disqualifier.
