We are pleased to invite you to Umzabalazo 2025: The Power of Us — Tekano’s annual gathering of reflection, creativity, and celebration.

This year, we come together to honour the spirit of collective action that has defined our struggle for justice, and to imagine renewal in a world in crisis. Join us for a powerful day of music, dialogue, and storytelling, featuring performances by Soundz of the South and Ncesh Nonxishi, a high-level Public Accounts, Public Trust dialogue with national leaders, and moving stories from our Tekano Fellows and communities driving change across South Africa.

Together, we’ll celebrate the graduation of Cohort 7, reflect on accountability and justice, and experience the creative, courageous pulse of the Tekano community. Come ready to connect, be inspired, and celebrate the power of us.
