Welcome to ASTORIA!

For this scavenger hunt, you will receive instructions and clues via email on the morning of your chosen date. It is self-paced, so you can begin and end whenever you like!

Activity description:

1) Participants will receive an email with 25 clues to locations all around Bend.

2) With the clues you will attempt to find destinations around the city! Most clues can be searched online, but to figure out the tougher ones, you may have to ask locals.

3) By visiting landmarks, businesses, and other interesting locations, you will learn all about Bend!

4) Take selfies and email photos with your group at any time to earn a completion certificate and possible other prizes!

When will I know what destinations I need to find?

You will receive an email on the morning of race day. Check to make sure you have given us a correct email address and CHECK YOUR SPAM just in case!

Where do I begin?

You can begin and end wherever you like!

Is there a time limit?

Nope! Some groups, especially larger ones, like to make a friendly competition out of the hunt. However, this is your scavenger hunt and you can take your time. Take a few hours, a day, or even weeks if you prefer. On average, the hunt usually takes 2-3 hours.
