This page provides an overview of MDes commencement events. All events are free and open to the invited guests of the MDes Class of Fall 2022.

Internodes Graduate Show Opening Reception

Thursday, December 15th | 4:00–6:00 PM | 310 Jacobs Hall

Join our graduates as they showcase their work at the opening of their graduate exhibition. Light refreshments will be served.

Internodes Graduate Show Public Show

Friday, December 16th | 310 Jacobs Hall

Exhibition projects will continue to be on display for the campus community and general public; all are welcome to engage with the culminating projects of the graduating class.

Berkeley MDes Commencement Ceremony

Friday, December 16th | 4:00–5:15 PM | Goldman Theater, David Brower Center

At this intimate program focused on MDes graduates, friends and family will join program faculty and administration in celebrating the MDes Class of Fall 2022. The ceremony will feature speakers, reading of graduate names, presentation of awards, and more.

Berkeley MDes Commencement Reception

Friday, December 16th | 5:15-7:00 PM | Hazel Wolf Atrium & Gallery Lobby, David Brower Center

Graduates will celebrate with family and friends at this reception that immediately follows the commencement ceremony. Refreshments will be served.
