UBC Applied Mathematics Meeting

The conference will bring together researchers, industry professionals, and students to exchange ideas, present research, and foster collaborations within the mathematical community. We will have 10-20 minute talks given by both senior and young researchers, as well as research posters.

You can sign up to present a talk or poster through the registration link above. Presentations should be at a level understandable by an early PhD student, with the goal that all the attendees from varied research backgrounds/departments/career levels will get something out of each presentation.

Areas we expect to be covered at the conference include:

- Optimization and machine learning,

- Mathematical biology,

- Mathematical physics,

- Numerical PDEs,

- Applied algebraic geometry.
