Is parking available?

Yes. Limited parking is available onsite and there is free parking around the UAII building. We encourage early arrival.

Is the UAII Clinic open during the event?

Yes. The UAII Clinic will be available for same-day medical support.

Will Member Services be open?

Yes. You can sign up for services, update your registration, or ask questions about programs.

Is The People’s Store open?

Yes. The People’s Store will be open with nonperishables and supportive items.

Yes! We’ll have a wide selection of Native food, art, jewelry, and community vendors throughout the day.

Absolutely. This is a family-friendly event, and we encourage community members of all ages to attend. We will have a kid-friendly area and seating for elders.

Yes! The Pow Wow is open to everyone. We welcome people of all backgrounds to celebrate and learn alongside our Native community.

Can I still dance or drum?

Yes. We’ll have space for dancers and drummers as part of our cultural demonstrations.

Can I still donate to support UAII?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Your support helps us serve Native families year-round. A donation link will be available at the event and online. And, we will have UAII merchandise for sale.

Can I participate in the dancing?

There will be intertribal dances where everyone is welcome to join in! The emcee will invite attendees to the arena at the appropriate times. Otherwise, please be respectful and allow dancers to perform without interruption.

Is it okay to take photos or videos?

Photos and videos are generally welcome, but there may be times during the event (such as Grand Entry and certain dances or ceremonies) when photography is not permitted. We will make announcements when this is the case. *Always ask before taking someone's picture.*

Is there a cost to attend?

No—admission is free and open to the public. You may want to bring cash or cards to purchase food, crafts, or other vendor items

Can I wear regalia or traditional dress?

If you are Native and wearing regalia from your own culture, you are welcome to do so. If you are not Native, out of respect, we ask that you do not wear regalia or imitation Native dress.

Do I have to be Native to attend?

Not at all. UAII’s Pow Wow is a culturally centered, inclusive event. We encourage respectful participation and learning for all attendees.
