Class Description:
The UA pipe trades Foreman has a lot of responsibility with fast paced projects, handling relationships, leading crews, and upholding the standard of excellence.
Whether you want to be a Foreman in the pipe trades or this is a review for you, please come to this class ready to participate. This class will cover the importance of Safety, UA Foreman responsibilities, Job/labor costs, relationship with customers/owners, RFI (request for information) processes and keeping our local union and contractors working together for a successful future.
To successfully complete this class and receive the certification the student will need to sign up and attend all four class dates and take a final exam on the last day with a final test score of 80% or greater.
Class Cancellations: If this class has less than 6 students registered at the close of registration the class may be canceled. If the class is cancelled, you will be notified via email and any fees paid will be refunded to the original payment method.
A Note on State Credits: State Credit will only be earned for courses that have been approved by the state. If a class is approved for credit, it will be noted in the class description. To receive state credit for a class you must attend all hours of the class. Courses are approved by the state for a fixed number of credit hours. These hours cannot be edited when submitting license numbers for credit.
