Overview

New music without borders.

TWO-0-NINE is an annual concert produced by PhD students in UC Irvine’s Integrated Composition, Improvisation, and Technology (ICIT) program. This special event features an afternoon of original new music composed and performed by the ICIT cohort. The artists in the ICIT community embrace diverse, interdisciplinary forms of music making and challenge conventional distinctions between classical composition, computer music, improvisation, and jazz.

Music and performances by Brandon Woo Snyder, Daniel Richardson, Emma Houton, Fabricio Cavero, Hayley Qin, Lisa Yoshida, Nolan Miranda, Rebecca Larkin, Reed Wixson, Xuanqi Liu. Faculty direction by Kojiro Umezaki.
