Twisted Little Freaks- A Stand-Up Comedy Show

In 2023, Melanie Dahling made the Toronto Star's list of Top 10 Comedy Albums with her debut: Greetings From The Big City. Now, she's presenting some fresh material, and she's invited some of her fave stand-ups to share the stage.

Laura McLean (JFL Toronto, Sketch to the Death, Yuk Yuks Ottawa) is an alternative lesbian comedian (her words) who began her stand-up career in Ottawa and is now a fixture of Toronto’s comedy scene.

With just over a decade of performing under her belt, Laura's style draws inspiration from Maria Bamford, Jon Dore, and Tim Heidecker. In November, she returns to her hometown to record her debut comedy album.

Kelsey Ryan (producer of Rainbow Roast, Comedy For Girls, Infinite Yesss) is a stand up comedian from scenic Ottawa Ontario who specializes in comedy for girls. Critics have described her as “a perfect person” who has “never done anything bad.” You can catch her at a variety of dive bars all across Toronto!
