Twin Cities Community Investment Trust Launch and Day of Learning
Overview
Join the Cultural Wellness Center in partnership with LISC Twin Cities, for a day of cross-sector sessions introducing the Community Investment Trust (CIT) model—an innovative financial structure that enables residents to build wealth through shared ownership of local commercial properties.
The Twin Cities CIT Summit will explore how this proven approach—first launched in Portland’s Plaza 122—can become a powerful tool for anti-displacement, corridor stabilization, and equitable development across Minneapolis and Saint Paul.
We will be joined by the CIT Services team from Portland, Oregon.
