Twilight Tranquility: Reiki and Sound Healing

This beautiful evening will be hosted by Courtney Tyssen, Sound Healing Practitioner, and Veida Somerville, Reiki Healer, at Earth Mothers Community in Mudgeeraba. This warm and inviting studio space is equipped with mats, blankets and bolsters for extra comfort and support. We will begin with a meditation as an opportunity to reflect and let go of what no longer serves you and align with our own personal intentions. You will then be invited to lay down and get comfortable in your own cocoon, ready to receive. Courtney will immerse you in the soothing sounds of singing bowls, chimes, drums and more, while Veida will offer reiki healing to each guest individually. Tap into a sense of calm as we come together to unwind, reconnect, and recharge. Space is limited, so reserve your spot today for this tranquil and restorative experience.

About Sound Healing Therapy: Sound therapy is the concept of becoming immersed in deeply relaxing sounds which, through vibrational frequency, allows the body to switch to its parasympathetic nervous system, or ‘Rest and Digest’ mode. This gives the body permission to relax and restore – something that we usually need much more of in our busy culture and lifestyles. Allowing the body a moment of stillness and deep rest, away from the stresses of every day life, is a deeply nourishing practice which leads us on a journey towards our own self healing. Sound therapy has been scientifically proven to reduce stress, enhance sleep quality, lower blood pressure, improve breathing and circulation, alleviate aches and pains, and strengthen the immune system. The sounds also help to shift energetic blockages and stagnant energy.

About Reiki: Reiki is a universal life energy of love, that can support healing on all levels of the body, mind and spirit. It’s a hand on, non- invasive modality that can bring deep levels of peace, relaxation and realisation.

About Courtney:

Courtney has a passion for helping individuals to feel a real sense of connection and inner peace. She has studied Integral Sound Healing, Meditation Teaching, Holistic Coaching, and Mental Health, giving her a well rounded approach in her 1-on-1 healing sessions and group sound bath events from both an energetic and scientific perspective. Her hope is to allow people to come home to themselves and to reconnect to their intuition.
