About this event

Science & Tech • Science

We are offering a FREE 4-week Beginner Scratch programming course to Tweens ages 8-12. Tweens will learn to develop interactive programs such as rock band, chat bot, and maze using Scratch programming language.

By pre-registering for this 4-week series you are registering for all 4 dates and should plan to attend all 4 dates:

  • Tuesday, October 21
  • Tuesday, October 28
  • Tuesday, November 4
  • Tuesday, November 18

All classes are from 6:00-7:00 PM in the 3rd Floor Tween Lounge at the Central Library.

Note: Children under age 10 must have a parent or guardian remain nearby during the program. Seating will be available near the program room.

First come first served. Space is limited. We recommend that you attend all 4 sessions; however, it is not necessary. It is beneficial to attend the first session.

Each class is self-paced with handouts, with the support of knowledgeable volunteers!
