About this event

Come along to a relaxed, drop in, tutored pose life drawing session for all abilities. There is a different topic each week covering a different aspect of life drawing.

This week’s topic is: Getting Started: Shape and Tone - Learn how to start a figure drawing by blocking in tonal shapes

The session includes a short taught segment at the beginning lasting around 20 mins, followed by a series of exercises where we draw from an unclothed model. The session is taught by tutor Lancelot Richardson. There will be a short break for hot drinks and biscuits in the middle of the session. Toilets are available in the building.

These sessions can be attended flexibly; you can attend all sessions like a course, or pick and choose topics. If you have any questions just email Lance on lancelotrichardson@gmail.com.

What you need to bring

You are welcome to bring your own drawing materials. Free materials, including paper and any required materials for the session are provided with this session. Drawing boards will be provided on a first come, first serve basis. There are chairs and tables available in the space.
