The event will open with a fireside chat featuring Nobel Laureate Joe Stiglitz. Rethink Trade, Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment (CCSI) and Georgetown Law’s Center for Center for the Advancement of the Rule of Law in the Americas (CAROLA) and Center on Inclusive Trade and Development (CITD) will unveil a White Paper that provides a roadmap to the international and domestic legal pathways for countries in the western hemisphere to extract themselves from the ISDS regime.
Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) will give closing remarks.
