About the Speaker
Ronald Hart-Brown is a multimedia creative, educator, and entrepreneur with a strong passion for storytelling and supporting small businesses. A Dayton native, proud graduate of the University of Cincinnati and DePaul University, Ron’s journey into entrepreneurship began during his time working at the African American Chamber of Commerce in Cincinnati, where he developed a deep appreciation for the resilience and impact of Black-owned businesses.
Over the years, Ron has combined his expertise in video production, branding, and digital strategy to support education-based nonprofits and globally recognized brands, including campaign work with the Jordan Brand, Cox Communications, and others. He currently serves as the Lead Designer for Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. He is the founder of two thriving ventures: Brown Digital Design, a creative studio specializing in multimedia storytelling, and Huey's Son Apparel & Accessories, a cultural brand rooted in Pan-African pride and millennial expression.
With over five years of experience in the classroom and more than a decade in creative strategy, Ron is passionate about using design and storytelling to educate, empower, and elevate communities. Whether in a boardroom, classroom, or creative studio, Ron brings a sharp eye for visuals, a heart for community, and a voice that champions authenticity and innovation.
The Economic & Community Development Institute's Women's Business Centers of Ohio guide individuals at any stage of the business process. Through one-on-one counseling sessions with WBC staff and volunteers, you can get the direction and resources to meet your goals. Business advisers want to help you successfully start a business, or grow and expand your existing business -- increasing revenue and creating jobs for the local economy.
The WBCs present training workshops regularly to provide access to small business knowledge at no charge. They are the only SBA-funded Women's Business Centers in the state.
