Tunes on Tap! SMC's Battle of the Bands

Somerville Media Center is excited to announce TUNES ON TAP! SMC’s Battle of the Bands, on Monday, November 10, 2025 from 6:30PM to 9:00PM at Aeronaut Brewing Company in Somerville, MA. Local bands will play short sets throughout the evening with guest judges to determine the best of show and other awards.  The event will also honor former Somerville Mayor Joe Curtatone with the Gene Brune Media Advocacy Award for his years of continuous support and advocacy for community media in Somerville and across the Commonwealth. 

Bands to be announced on an ongoing basis. Ticket price includes entry and drink tickets.

This event is a celebration of SMC’s mission and a vital way to raise the funds that sustain our work in Somerville.  We aim to raise at least $10,000 in funds to support SMC’s programs and services and we invite you to join us and rock the night away.
