Does everyone need a guest pass (even performers)?

Everyone is asked to pay for a guest pass. in advance. The guest pass acts as your donation to Feeding the Carolinas and allows us to keep track of parking.

Do children, twelve and under,  need a pass to attend?

Accepted Answer

Children 12  and under are FREE to attend with an adult. Adults will be responsible for their children at all times. Misuse of toys, harmful or disrespectful behavior and teasing of the farm animals can be grounds for dismissal without a refund.

Question 3

Who can perform at the Tunes & Shrooms open mic?

Accepted Answer

We are open to a variety of skill levels and instruments are welcome (including a cappella/spoken word). Sets are 5, 10 and 15 minutes in length. You must sign up by November 17th to be included.

Are you interested in performing at the open mic?

Contact us at 704-305-3672 or by email at windingbrookfarms@gmail.com.  We will need to know what set length you prefer and what you will be performing. Once you receive email confirmation, just purchase your pass (by November 19th) to reserve your spot for the event.  PA will equipment provided.

Why is there a  guest pass fee to attend Tunes & Shrooms  '25?

This is a community fundraiser for Feeding the Carolinas.  All profits from the sale of passes will go directly to the organization. Ticket sales also help us gauge available parking. The performers are donating their time and talents.

Question 6

What should we bring to the event?

Accepted Answer

The open mic  will be held at and around the pavilion near the back of the property. Here are some suggestions: 
wear sturdy shoes,
a blanket and/or chairs,
food and/or treats to share,
your own (adult) beverages ,
bug spray,
a sweater/jacket, 
a happy vibe and a friendly spirit.

Where should we park?

We now have some parking in the field in front of the farm. After parking, collect your stuff, check in at the farmhouse for your wristband,  and then head back to the pavilion.  You will be emailed a parking map.

What is the earliest we can arrive?

You, your family, and your friends may arrive right around 2:30 PM. We have some seating available but it is on a first-come first-served basis. Arrival time is flexible.

What happens if we cannot attend the event after purchasing tickets?

Accepted Answer

We understand that "life happens," however we cannot offer refunds at this time. If you have to cancel your pass fee will be donated to Feeding the Carolinas.

Question 10

Can Tunes & Shrooms be cancelled due to weather?

Accepted Answer

This is an outdoor event.  If the week prior is very rainy or it rains on the day of the Tunes & Shrooms open mic  the event will be cancelled.  There is no rain date for this event.  All pass fees will be donated to Feeding the Carolinas.

Can my dogs join in the fun?

There are farm animals on the property so please leave your furry friends at home.
