Is there any pre-required knowledge about blockchain that is needed to participate in this event?

Accepted Answer

No, there are no prerequisites for knowledge of blockchain or related topics. Furthermore, we will have a Blockchain 101 track covering the basics on the first day of our conference.

Will this conference help me to get rich with crypto?

Accepted Answer

No. This is an academic conference discussing the technical details of blockchain, the opportunities to create impactful applications, and the social implications revolving around it. If you only care about the financial profit opportunities, this is not the right conference for you.

Is this conference only about theory and talks, or will there be practical activities too?

Accepted Answer

We are mixing it up with both! There will be informative talks as well as practical, hands-on workshops.

Are there any opportunities for networking during the conference?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! We will have plenty of networking opportunities with industry and academia.

I am a student, can I get a free ticket?

Accepted Answer

We offer cheaper tickets for students. Just choose this option when you register. If you still have financial difficulties, we offer a student ticket grant on a case to case basis (start of ticket sale - 3 days before it ends).
Make sure to bring a valid student id to get access to the conference.

Do we provide accommodation?

Accepted Answer

No, we do not provide accommodation. We only provide a fun learning experience :). Attendees need to arrange their stay.

Unfortunately no, we do not cover travel expenses. Attendees will need to handle their travel arrangements and costs.
