Tuesday with PEER's - Beyond Boundaries: How a “ Yes” Could Lead to an Ethical Issue

PLEASE NOTE:This event is VIRTUAL! You will be sent a zoom link to attend.

Join us as we explore the Code of Ethics for Peer Recovery Supporters and take a deep dive into how boundaries are challenged by the people we serve, employers, and even co-workers. We also delve into what happens if a boundary is crossed, when does it become an ethical issue, and how to prevent ethical issues from happening (hint: by setting healthy boundaries!).

Learning Objectives:

Understand the nuances around boundaries and ethical issues.

How to create healthy boundaries in the workplace as well as with the people who we serve.

How to report an ethical issue.

Whether you are new to peer support or have worked in the field for years, this class is for you! This presentation provides opportunities for interaction and Q&A. Come and learn all about setting healthy boundaries!
