About this event

What if a newspaper could do more than just report the news? What if it could provide low barier employment, justice, and community?

Join us for a free, virtual info session to learn about Tucson’s first-ever street newspaper — an independent, nonprofit publication that will uplift marginalized voices and dig deep on policy and issues effecting communities across our region.

This paper will:

  • Publish real journalism focused on housing, poverty, and regional policy
  • Center the lived experience of people often excluded from media
  • Launch a vendor program that creates low-barrier income opportunities

Whether you’re curious, interested in volunteering, want to support financially, or just want to hear more — this session is for you.

We’ll share:

  • What inspired the paper
  • Our goals and timeline
  • How you can get involved as a vendor, vendor ally, advisor, writer, or donor

💻 Hosted virtually via Zoom📅 Choose from two sessions:

  • Sunday, July 13, 10:30 a.m.
  • Thursday, July 31, 5:30 p.m.

🔗 Zoom link will be emailed after registration.

Let’s create something powerful, local, and led by the people.
