Needed Materials: Pen/pencil, spiral bound notebook, Pipe Trades Pro calculator (recommended but not required)
Class Description:
Learn the fundamental math and techniques for bending tubing. Calculate the various dimensions of a bend. Learn to layout tube for multiple bends.
Students will
· Be able to calculate setback, advance and gain.
· Mark tubing to make accurate bends.
· Determine how to bend tubing at any given angle.
Class Cancellations: If this class has less than 6 students registered at the close of registration the class may be canceled. If the class is cancelled, you will be notified via email and any fees paid will be refunded to the original payment method.
A Note on State Credits: State Credit will only be earned for courses that have been approved by the state. If a class is approved for credit, it will be noted in the class description. To receive state credit for a class you must attend all hours of the class. Courses are approved by the state for a fixed number of credit hours. These hours cannot be edited when submitting license numbers for credit.
