Truth, Love, and Curiosity: An Evening with Mike Henderson

Join iconic Bay Area artist and beloved Renaissance man Mike Henderson for a reception celebrating Truth, Love, and Curiosity, his current solo at Haines. The event will include a live blues performance by Henderson and his band, Cabin Fever, as well as a special short preview of Mike Henderson: Here I Stand, the forthcoming feature-length documentary celebrating the artist's accomplishments, co-directed by Cheryl Haines and Ethan Wiley. Dancing shoes optional.

Named after the impulses that fuel Henderson’s fearlessly inventive practice, Truth, Love, and Curiosity is on his sixteenth solo at Haines. The exhibition features his gestural, highly tactile oil paintings alongside a selection of his early experimental films.
