Using historical source materials and their own words, these two women, as Sojourner Truth and Fannie Lou Hamer, meditate on their lives, children, womanhood and Americanness. Somber, resonant, and viscerally educational, this short film will move and inspire you with stories of the spirit unbroken. Afterwards, we’ll hear from the actors and creators LIVE as they share their motivations for this beautiful work.
