What are the dates and times for the live Zoom sessions?

The live sessions will be Oct. 10, 17, 24, 31, and Nov. 7. All sessions start at 9:00am PT/12:00pm ET and last 1.5 hours except the final session which will be 2 hours.

How will the sessions be conducted?

We use the Zoom virtual meeting platform. You will be able to log in to each session by clicking a link you will receive in an email invitation. The information can also be entered on most digital calendars as an appointment.

Question 3

Do I have to install Zoom software on my device ahead of time?

Accepted Answer

No. Zoom is a web-based application that does not require you to install software on your device.

Question 4

What kinds of devices can I use to attend sessions?

Accepted Answer

Zoom supports a wide range of devices and operating systems. You can also dial in by phone.

Question 5

What will the sessions be like?

Accepted Answer

You will learn from a combination of teaching, exercises, facilitated discussions with the whole participant group, and small group discussions in virtual breakout rooms. In live sessions you will be interacting with the facilitator and other participants.

Question 6

Do I have to attend every session to be certified?

Accepted Answer

Participation in the live sessions is key to successfully learning and being able to use this material professionally. We also understand that life happens. You can still earn certification if you miss up to two live sessions.

Question 7

How much homework should I plan time to complete between live sessions?

Accepted Answer

The homework is intended to prepare you to engage effectively in the exercises and discussions in the following live session. It will consist of a short, narrated PowerPoint to watch and some reading and/or exercise. This should take approximately 30-45 minutes.

What is your refund policy?

Accepted Answer

You are eligible for a full refund if you cancel seven (7) or more days prior to the start of Session 1. Refunds go back to the original payment method. Eventbrite charges a fee for refunds which will be deducted from the amount you paid.
