True Crime and Wine: The Gameshow Killer hosted by Firelight Vineyards

Join John Matthews, owner of Cassaro Winery and 40-year law enforcement veteran, for an in-depth look into the life and crimes of the charming and prolific serial killer Rodney Alcala. This sociopath was so charming that he won his way onto the 1970's hit gameshow "The Dating Game," even though at the time he had already murdered up to a half dozen women. After his appearance, the killings continued. He was charged with eight murders in two states, although authorities have since added to that total and believe his body count could top 100.

John Matthews is an award-winning writer and co-author of The Eyeball Killer, a true crime Book of the Month published by Pinnacle Books and Doubleday. John has been featured on shows including HBO Autopsy, Evil I, Very Bad Men, Born to Kill, Murder by the Numbers, Mark of a Killer and World’s Most Evil Killers. John has written seven books and for the past 25 years been a law enforcment analyst for CNN and FOX News as well as numerous appearances on CBC and BBC and Good Morning America. His story of the capture of Dallas' serial killer is currently being developed into a feature film called the Eyes of Jefferson and John is serving as Executive Producer.
