We are excited to announce that The Office of Student Leadership & Engagement is will be hosting an exclusive screening of the new film, Triumph of the Heart – the inspiring true story of St. Maximilian Kolbe, the Polish priest who gave his life at Auschwitz in a profound act of faith, love, and sacrifice. This film contains sensitive content, including graphic and thematic material involving death. Viewer discretion is advised.
Date: Tuesday, November 18th
Time: Doors open at 6:30 PM, Movie begins at 7:00 PM
Location: Jones Hall
This powerful film offers us the chance to reflect on St. Kolbe’s extraordinary witness to Christ’s love and courage in the darkest of times. It’s an evening of inspiration for staff, faculty, students, and friends of the UST community.
Timeline:
- 6:30 PM: Doors open & fellowship
- 7:00 PM: Film screening begin
Admission: Free, registration ticket is required to attend (https://TOTHUST.eventbrite.com)
Food: light snacks (nachos and popcorn) will be available, participants are encouraged to bring refreshments or food to enjoy during the movie.
